If you’ve been following beauty trends lately, you’ve probably seen “treatment stacking” everywhere. It’s being held up as a K-beauty-inspired revolution, layering complementary treatments in a single session to amplify results, address multiple concerns at once, and maximize every minute of your appointment.

Here’s something we’ll let you in on: we’ve been doing this for years.

What Treatment Stacking Actually Means

At its core, stacking is the practice of combining treatments that work synergistically, where each step enhances the one before it. In Korean skincare culture, this philosophy shows up in the famous 10-step routine: cleanse, tone, essence, ampoule, serum, sheet mask, eye cream, moisturizer, SPF. Each layer prepares the skin for the next.

In a professional treatment setting, the same principle applies. Exfoliation opens the skin. Infusion drives actives deeper. Collagen-stimulation triggers repair. Barrier support seals everything in. When these steps are sequenced intentionally, the results are meaningfully greater than any single step alone.

The GLOW Approach Has Always Been Built This Way

Our multi-step protocols, like the Glass Skin Facial, Microneedling 3.0, and Medi 2.0 — are inherently stacked. They weren’t designed around a single modality. They were designed around your skin’s needs in that session, sequenced to get you the most visible result possible in the time we have together.

What makes our approach different from a rigid protocol is that our aestheticians customize the stack in the room, based on what your skin is presenting that day. Reactive? We adjust. Congested? We prioritize. Dehydrated? We layer accordingly. The trend has a name now. For us, it’s always just been good skincare.

What This Means for Your Next Appointment

If you’ve been curious about getting more from your treatments, addressing texture and tone and hydration in one visit rather than three — ask us about stacking your next session. Whether that’s adding LED therapy after your facial, combining a peel with a nano infusion, or working up to a full Microneedling 3.0 protocol, we’ll build something that makes sense for where your skin is right now.

The trend is catching up to what we already know: intentional layering, done by the right hands, changes skin. We’re just glad the rest of the world is finally paying attention.

There's a particular kind of hesitation that comes with booking an 'advanced' facial for the first time. The word suggests results which is exactly what you want, but it can also suggest recovery time, redness, or that you'll need to clear your schedule for a few days afterwards. With Medi 2.0, none of that applies. Here's a transparent look at what actually happens from the moment you arrive.

What Medi 2.0 is designed to do

Medi 2.0 is GLOW's advanced, results-driven facial; a 90-minute treatment targeting the skin concerns that matter most to our clients: congestion, dullness, uneven texture, and a complexion that's lost its clarity. It's not a relaxation facial, though it absolutely is relaxing. It's designed to deliver visible, meaningful change, the kind you notice in the mirror the next morning.

It's suitable for all skin types. There's no downtime. And this July, everyone pays our member price — $280 instead of the regular $350, no membership required.

Step by step: what to expect

  • Your consultation. Every Medi 2.0 begins with a brief consultation. We use advanced skin imaging to assess your skin in real time — looking at hydration, congestion, tone, and texture beneath the surface. This is how we personalize the treatment rather than applying the same protocol to every client.

  • Deep cleanse and preparation. The skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove every trace of SPF, makeup, and daily buildup. This isn't a cursory rinse — it's a full preparation stage that allows every subsequent step to perform at its best.

  • Exfoliation and extractions. We work through the surface of the skin — gently but effectively — to clear congestion and refine texture. This is the stage that makes the most visible difference for clients dealing with blackheads, enlarged pores, or skin that feels rough to the touch.

  • Lymphatic drainage massage. A gentle, rhythmic facial massage encourages lymphatic flow — helping to reduce puffiness, support circulation, and leave the skin looking sculpted and refreshed. It's also one of the most relaxing parts of the treatment, a moment to simply switch off.

  • Active treatment. A customized chemical peel is applied to address brightness, texture, and tone at a deeper level. The formulation is selected based on your consultation — what your skin needs, not a standard protocol. (For expecting clients, we swap this step for a pregnancy-safe glow boost. Just let us know at booking.)

  • LED light therapy. Targeted LED light is used to calm the skin and support recovery after the active stage — helping to soothe the look of redness and encourage a clear, even finish. It's completely comfortable, with nothing to feel but warmth and light.

  • Brightening and recovery. Active ingredients are followed by recovery-focused serums and a nourishing mask designed to calm, replenish, and prepare the skin barrier for the work it's just done.

  • Finishing and protection. We complete the treatment with SPF and a brief review of what we observed and recommend for your home care going forward. You leave with a clear plan, not just a glowing face.

Why there's no downtime

The chemical peel used in Medi 2.0 is calibrated specifically to deliver results without the recovery period associated with stronger clinical peels. You may notice that your skin looks slightly flushed immediately after, this settles within a few hours. Some clients experience mild dryness over the day or two following, which is the surface of the skin gently renewing itself. You can return to your day immediately after your appointment.

What you should avoid for 24–48 hours: additional exfoliants, active ingredients, and intense heat (saunas, very hot showers). Keep it simple, keep it protected with SPF, and let the treatment do its work.

Who it's right for

Medi 2.0 is for any client ready to move beyond a maintenance facial and into results-driven territory, without committing to downtime. It's a guest favourite for clients dealing with post-summer pigmentation, ongoing congestion, or skin that's been through a lot and needs a thoughtful reset.

If you're pregnant, we can absolutely tailor the treatment for you. We swap the chemical peel step for a pregnancy-safe glow boost, the rest of the experience remains the same. Suitability is always confirmed during your complimentary consultation.

Ready to experience Medi 2.0? This July, everyone pays our member price — $280 (regularly $350), no membership required. Book your appointment or book a complimentary consultation to find out if Medi 2.0 is the right treatment for where your skin is right now. 🧡

Results may vary. Individual outcomes depend on skin type and treatment plan. Medi 2.0 offer valid July 1–31, 2026. Pregnancy-safe version available — suitability confirmed at consultation.

When you're ready to go beyond “glow” and into true skin transformation, our Medi Peel offers clinical-level correction for real, lasting change. Powered by Circadia’s medical-grade formulations, this advanced chemical peel is designed to target stubborn skin concerns like acne, pigmentation, rough texture, and early signs of aging with visible, measurable results.

Unlike lighter spa peels, the Medi Peel works deeper within the skin, stimulating cellular turnover, collagen production, and long-term healing. It’s not a relaxing spa facial and it’s not meant to be. It’s a focused, results-driven treatment that forms the backbone of many of our most powerful skin journeys.

What to Expect from the Process

This isn’t your quick-fix lunch-break facial. The Medi Peel begins with a consultation and once in treatment, your aesthetician will apply a customized blend of potent acids tailored to your skin type and goals. You may feel a warm, tingly, or mildly stinging sensation during application, followed by tightness as the peel begins to take effect. While there’s no mask or facial massage included, every step is done with care and precision to maximize results.

Within 48–72 hours, most clients experience visible peeling or flaking, which can last around five days. Redness, dryness, and tightness are also completely normal, this is your skin doing the hard work of renewal.

Who The Medi Peel Is For

The Medi Peel is designed for clients ready to commit to the process and the payoff. It’s an ideal choice for:

  • Persistent acne or post-acne marks

  • Uneven skin tone or texture

  • Sun damage and dark spots

  • Fine lines or early aging concerns

  • Skin that feels dull, rough, or unresponsive to product routines

We typically recommend it for Fitzpatrick skin types I–V, and it’s not suitable during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or for those on retinoid medications or with compromised skin barriers. But if you’ve tried at-home treatments with little success and want a structured, guided path to results, this peel could be the solution.

Real Correction, Not a Quick Cover-Up

The strength of the Medi Peel lies in its ability to resurface and renew the skin from within. It encourages your skin to shed what it no longer needs, dead cells, congestion, discoloration and rebuild from a healthier, clearer foundation.

We provide a mandatory post-care kit to support healing and protect the skin barrier during the vulnerable days after treatment. With professional guidance and consistent aftercare, you’ll begin to see the full benefits within 7–10 days: brighter tone, refined texture, softened lines, and a clearer complexion that speaks for itself.

When and How Often?

This peel is best done in fall or winter, when UV exposure is lower and your skin can focus on recovery. Most clients complete a series of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced about 6–8 weeks apart, to achieve full correction. Once your series is complete, seasonal maintenance peels can keep your results on track year-round.

Important Aftercare Reminders

After your peel, your skin will need rest. For the first 24–48 hours, avoid exercise, heat, saunas, and steam. Don’t pick or peel flaking skin, even if it’s tempting; it’s important to let the shedding process unfold naturally.

Stick to the post-care kit and skip all exfoliants, actives, and retinoids for at least a week. And of course, SPF is non-negotiable, your new skin is beautiful, but it’s delicate and must be protected daily.

Want to Elevate the Results?

Once your skin has healed, you can amplify your transformation with treatments like LED light therapy for inflammation, lymphatic drainage to support detoxification, or nano infusion to drive the peel deeper. Our team will build a personalized plan around your goals and skin's needs.

A Final Word

The Medi Peel isn’t about pampering, it’s about progress. It’s a clinical, corrective solution for clients who want more than surface-level change. Whether you’re tackling acne scars, pigmentation, or texture that hasn’t budged with products alone, this peel offers a strategic, science-backed way forward.
